Two UNICEF cargo planes arrive at Sana'a International Airport

SANAA, July. 22 (Saba) - Two United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) cargo planes arrived at Sanaa International Airport today, carrying more than 41 tons of preventive supplies against the Corona virus.

The two Boeing 727aircraft received all air navigation services and facilities at international airports and in accordance with ICAO requirements.

The crew of the two aircraft praised the navigational services and the full operational readiness enjoyed by Sana'a International Airport in receiving aircraft, including cargo planes, noting that the airport is able to receive all types of civil aircraft for its operational and technical equipment in accordance with international specifications.

A specialized medical team from Sana'a International Airport carried out spraying and disinfection of the two shipments as part of the strengthening of precautionary measures to combat the coronavirus and in accordance with the decisions of the High Commission to combat epidemics at air ports.
