GPC: Aggression's crime in Jawf is an extension of the Saudi regime's crimes in Yemen
[16/ July/2020]

SANAA, July 16 (Saba) - The General People's Congress (GPC) condemned the crime of Saudi aggression on a house of the civilian Mabkhut Marzouk Muree in Mesafah area in Jawf province, killing or injuring 31, most of them women and children.

The conference underscored in a statement, Saba got a copy of it, that this crime comes two days after the Saudi aggression aircraft committed a massacre in the district of Washha in Hajjah province, which claimed the death a number of martyrs, including women and children.

It considered this horrific crime is an extension of a series of crimes that carried out against the innocent Yemeni people as the aggression coalition continue targeting civilians in homes, markets, and public roads.

The GPC's statement pointed out that the continued aggression led by the Saudi regime in shedding the blood of the people of Yemen reflects the regime bankruptcy and its brutality against the innocent civilians in Yemen as well as it is a stain on the forehead of humanity as its disregard for all international conventions.

The GPC held the United Nations, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council and the international community responsible for their legal, moral and humanitarian consequences for their silence in targeting civilians, what is considered an encouragement for daily war crimes and a cover for the continuation of the aggression and its persistence in killing the Yemeni people and destroying their capabilities and all the necessities of life.

It renewed the call for the formation of a neutral international investigation committee to inquiry about all crimes of the aggression coalition as war crimes that do not lapse by the statute of limitations.
