SANAA, July 6 (Saba) - The Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs Manea al-Asal has discussed with the deputy head of the International Committee of the Red Cross the possibility of supporting Corrections Centres.
The meeting which gathered the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program addressed the urgent needs of the Corrections / Prisons facilities represented by medical supplies, food, and shelter.
At the meeting, the head of the department praised the services and activities of the Red Cross Committee and the UNDP, calling for expanding and continuing their efforts in supporting the Corrections.
The deputy head of the ICRC indicated that the ICRC is ready to do more activities for the Corrections and in various fields.
