Yemeni armed forces will continue to target Saudi rear: Army Spokesman
[04/ July/2020]

SANAA, July. 4 (Saba) - The Yemeni armed forces will continue to target the Saudi rear with its military and sovereign institutions, which represent the spearhead of aggression against Yemen, Spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, said on Thursday.

"The armed forces are keen to keep their objectives away from any harm to the people, who we know are oppressed by the Al Saud rule and draining resources in the battles of Israel and America, corruption," Said Brig. Gen. Sarie in a media statement, after the air escalation and threats launched by the countries of aggression.

"The fourth deterrence balance is the best proof of this, as sensitive security and military headquarters were targeted, special intelligence sources confirmed that the operation was accurate and hit its targets with high accuracy and hit the Saudi enemy and its American successor scare and confusion and was very painful for them," he added.

He pointed out that the American side stands behind the aggression, as it stands today behind its continuation, and this confirmed by the revolution leader and the Yemeni people are well aware that the Saudi and Emirati are only tools, and the military escalation is not new. "We have been living in a phase of total aggression since March 2015 and the armed forces are able to defend Yemen and our potential today is better than it was," he said.

"The Yemeni people trust their armed forces and their growing capabilities, and until now we have not used all our strength, papers, capabilities, and the enemy must realize that," he said.

He also stressed that the language of threats would not work with the free, steadfast Yemeni people, and if the language of the threat were useful, the aggression would not have continued until now and the enemy should realize that it has only one option, which is to stop the aggression and lift the blockade.

"The armed forces consider the siege to be a hostile military act and have already been referred to.  And our people will not starve and we have our options, and we will not reveal that for every recent incident,"   he said.

He reiterated that the next stage was determined by the aggression itself. "We are in a position to defend our people and no force on the ground will be able to take away from us this right, and the continuation of the aggression and siege means that we will continue to respond legitimately and our action is ahead of the word," he said.

The armed forces were exercising their legitimate right to defend the people and the country. "We face criminal aggression and we will not remain idly by as we see our people killed by raids and sieges, and the logic of the aggression coalition and the threat of amputation of hands, aggression, assassination and massacres, the greatest renewed proof that what Yemen is subjected to aggression and that the response by all available means is the least that the Yemeni armed forces can do," he added.
