[30/ June/2020]

SANAA, June 30 (Saba) - A  Salvation Government spokesman Minister of Information Daifallah Al-Shami has condemned the horrific crime committed by the mercenaries of the aggression coalition of al-Qaeda and ISIS against the Suba’yan family in the Marib province.

The government spokesperson al-Shami told Saba that groups of al-Qaeda and ISIS attacked  al-Khashaa area in Wadi Abedah in Marib with crews and tanks, and bombed and burned homes, causing the martyrdom of seven members of a family of the Suba’yan, including Sheikh Mohsen Suba'yan.

Al-Shami stressed that this crime should not go unanswered and tolerated by attacking families in the areas where these criminals are present for such a crime.

He called on tribes to mobilize to respond to this crime and protect the land and the family.

Al-Shami pointed to the media misinformation through which criminals are trying to justify their crimes against just a gang, noting that it was not known in history that an entire family with its men, women, and children is called a gang.

The government spokesman al-Shami also called on human rights organizations to condemn this crime, which is inconsistent with all international and humanitarian norms and covenants.
