Member of the Supreme Political Council: we are ready for dialogue and sign the comprehensive solution document‏
[15/ June/2020]

SANAA, June 15 (Saba) - Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali al-Houthi has confirmed his readiness to discuss all issues on the table directly before the media cameras to reach a comprehensive solution that stops the aggression against Yemen.

Mohamed Ali Al-Houthi said in an interview with the BBC channel last Friday, June 12,  "we do not have any restrictions or an agenda we fear it will show in front of the media".

He added " We are present to talk with Saudi Arabia on air, including the aggressive countries and talk about the issues of the Republic of Yemen and its people suffering in the country as a result of this unjust aggression."

He added, "We presented a comprehensive solution document in which all solutions were called, and we called for the delivery of salaries, we also called for dispatching a field team to Safer, and we called them for complete solutions, not segmented solutions or just for media consumption."

He continued, "Until now we are waiting for their responses of what we had presented, and the ongoing dialogue with the UN envoy. What is happening today is a delay. We are not unable to think, but they are unable to implement it. We presented initiatives and presented realistic solutions, and they, the other party,  refused to implement them."

He pointed out there is communication with the countries of aggression, but it does not rise to a level of negotiations.

Al-Houthi said, "We urge that there will be communication until the aggression countries stop their attack against our country, since the first day, we called them for dialogue and that everything is available to everyone."

The Supreme Political Member also affirmed his readiness to go to Saudi Arabia to sign the comprehensive solution document if Saudi Arabia and the countries of aggression agree to it.

He pointed out the entire Yemeni people are in need of assistance, and this will be achieved by breaking the blockade and stopping the aggression against Yemen.

He pointed out the entire Yemeni people need help by breaking the blockade and stopping the aggression, adding Yemen do not need the assistance of anyone, the entire Yemeni people, whether in the occupied areas or the free land, their sons just need only to be free, not to be trapped, and all resources must be available for them to live in freedom and peace.

Regarding the Coronavirus, al-Houthi explained that showing or concealing the number of people infected with the virus do neither reduce the epidemic nor increase it, but increase terror, indicating that psychiatrists speak that most cases that come to clinics are a result of the media, they get panic, they could have caught a cold or any of its symptoms, even if he or she does not have Coronavirus, he goes to the hospitals.

He said that the health system in Yemen has almost collapsed according to the evaluation of the United Nations organizations.

He added, "We do not need the people living in fear and anxiety from symptoms that may not be corona, whoever feels the real symptoms that have been announced and talked about it in several conferences and in street paintings he or she goes to specialized hospitals for treatment.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Health began to set up a specific program to be applied in specific hospitals then directed all the hospitals of the Republic of Yemen to receive all cases in weak existing capabilities and this is well-known for all.

Al-Houthi said, "We do not have modern technology which could enable us to determine who is infected with Corona and who is not infected."

He stated that all the returnees who were stuck and prevented from arriving or being returned to Yemen were allowed to return with the outbreak of Corona, eight planes were sent to Yemen in a day, two planes from India, four planes from Egypt, two planes from Jordan, and Egypt is known to have the epidemic.

Al-Houthi added, "Sending them in this way without taking the primary tests or putting them in quarantine is evidence that they bear responsibility, the aggression countries sent thousands from Saudi Arabia.

The Supreme Political Council member held the states of the aggression the full responsibility for the Corona outbreak because the first outbreak of the epidemic was in the areas they controlled.

He added that the Yemeni people are now suffering from a major fuel crisis, a crisis in the lack of entry of the medical solutions and medicines needed to confront the Corona pandemic, yet the aggression claim that they are stopping the artillery shelling or warplanes raids, and they are the ones who besiege the Yemeni people from the arrival of such supplies into Yemen.

About the ceasefire, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi indicated that the aggression coalition was the one that declared the ceasefire unilaterally, and yet they did not stop since the first day of its announcement, stressing the importance of a true ceasefire, not for media consumption or political marketing.

Asked about the donors' conference, the supreme political member said,“ There are supposed to be a donors' conference that is not in a country that encroaches upon and besieges our country.”

He indicated that Saudi Arabia did not provide anything and what was provided at the donors' conference it had previously announced before the conference, and many of the countries attacking Yemen did not offer anything, and Britain presented at the donors' conference more than Saudi Arabia.

He stressed that the donors' conference has been failed because whoever manages the funds that the conference brings the United Nations organizations that seize these funds as two-thirds go in operating expenses of themselves and their workers without reaching anything to the Yemeni people, calling the United Nations Organization to provide financial support instead of expired aid for the Yemeni people.

He reaffirmed that Saudi Arabia and other aggressive countries must understand that the Yemeni people have grown up and should deal with the Yemeni people and not with politicians who are staying in the aggressive countries' cuddling and who also wanted to restore the wheel to implement their wrong policies against the aspirations of the great Yemeni people.
