Minister Sharaf warned in letters to the foreign ministers of the countries sponsoring the political settlement process in Yemen, the foreign ministers of brotherly and friendly countries, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President and members of the Security Council, the President and members of the United Nations Human Rights Council, and the UN envoy to Yemen, that the continued denial of access to gas and oil derivatives vessels would have disastrous consequences in the light of the Coved-19 pandemic and the need for fuel service sectors.

He added that the detention of oil derivatives ships by the Coalition of Aggression reveals its efforts to undermine efforts to combat the coronavirus and its continued to increase in the suffering of the Yemeni people at a time when the international community and the world have joined forces to confront an epidemic that has become threatening to all.

The minister blamed of the aggression for the repercussions of the blockade and the ongoing maritime piracy and all the consequences of its policy of collective punishment for several years as part of its economic war.
