HAJJAH, June 4 (Saba) - Hajjah governor Hilal al-Sufi has stressed the importance of media professionals, activists and human rights activists' role in raising community awareness against the novel corona virus in the province.
The governor pointed out, earlier this week, in a circular to the Media Committee tasked with facing the epidemic, the necessity of unifying the message and educational media discourse, mobilizing all energies across the various media and social media to confront the virus and educating society about its dangers.
The governor urged the media outlets to work as a team, and deliver the right media messages for citizens over the disease symptoms and ways to protect it, urging the importance of committing the health instructions and taking the precautionary measures against the virus.
Al-Sufi called on the work teams to double their efforts to activate the awareness fields to deliver the media messages aiming at serving the province and keeping the civilians out of this pandemic.
