SANAA, March 25 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council in the capital Sana’a, Mahdi al-Mashat delivered an important speech on Wednesday on the fifth anniversary of the Yemeni people's steadfastness in confronting the US-Saudi aggression.
The President announced the end of the first phase of "great pain stages" and blessed the steadfastness Yemeni people over the past five years.
In his speech on the occasion reiterated the call to lead the coalition of aggression to arbitrate reason and stop the aggression, he said "We advise you to cooperate in the development of the September 21 initiative and move from war to peace."
He expressed the deep pride of our military and security capabilities accumulated during 5 years, praising the sustainable reinforcement of the military frontlines.
The President saluted the Armed Forces heroes and expressed his pride of the security successes. He also praised the honorable security model in the areas of controlled by National Salvation government as a result of steadfastness of the Yemeni People.
President Mahdi al-Mashat stressed that the solution lies in working to liberate the land and expel the occupier, expressing the pride in the growing level of popular awareness and popular anger that almost sweeps the occupier and engulfs them in terror in all areas of their presence.
"We reserve the right to respond according to what we see as appropriate towards any continuation of the siege or aerial bombardment," President al-Mashat said.
