SANAA, March. 18 (Saba) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Joint Technical Committee of Coronavirus Preparedness confirmed that no laboratory confirmed cases of the virus infection in Yemen.
The Committee Spokesman, Dr. Abdulhakim Al-Kuhlani, told Saba News Agency that the ministry has received a report of a suspected case of a Yemeni citizen who was in the Saudi German Hospital and two others holding Egyptian nationality deported from Saudi Arabia.
He pointed out that a laboratory examination was carried out at the National Center for Public Health Laboratories and it was found that the three samples were free of Coronavirus.
"We assure the citizens and residents of the Republic of Yemen that the decisions and actions taken by Yemen are precautionary precautions against this epidemic," he added.
Dr. Al-Kuhlani called on everyone to obtain information from its official source in the Joint Technical Committee.
He called on everyone to raise awareness, patriotism and respond to the decisions of the Higher Ministerial Committee for Epidemic Control.
