SANAA, March 5 (Saba) - Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development, Head of the Higher Committee for Epidemics Control Dr. Hussein Maqbouli stressed the need to tighten the precautionary measures to confront Corona virus, especially in light of the ongoing aggression and blockade.
This came during a meeting held in Sanaa and was devoted for discussing the precautionary measures taken by the government to face the Corona virus.
The meeting also discussed the emergency budget to enable the Ministry of Public Health and Population and its offices in the provinces to implement the preparedness and response stage plan.
In the meeting, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for the Care Sector, Head of the Technical Committee for Corona Control Dr. Mohammed al-Mansour reviewed the measures taken by the ministry to confront the disease and the challenges facing the work.
Dr. al-Mansour reaffirmed that Yemen has not recorded any suspected case or confirmed infection with the Corona virus so far.
