JAWF, Feb. 27 (Saba) - The Public Health and Population Office in Jawf province on Thursday received seven ambulances equipped with full first aid supplies and services, provided by the Ministry of Public Health and Population and funding of the World Health Organization.
During the handover, Dr. Abdulaziz Omair, director of the provincial health office, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health leadership in supporting the health sector in Jawf. He pointed out that the province's response to this number of ambulances is the first time in the history of the province.
He confirmed that ambulances will be distributed in accordance with the ministry's plan to cope with the needs of the field to transport emergency and critical cases, especially the province of Jawf suffered a lot from the lack of ambulance for the medical conditions that need to be transferred to hospitals in neighboring provinces or the capital Sana'a.
