SANAA, Feb. 22 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah met on Saturday with the chief of the European Union (EU) Office for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO) for Yemen, Aldo Biondi.
At the meeting, the officials discussed a number of issues related to enhancing cooperation between Yemen and the EU.
They reviewed the outputs of the Brussels meeting for the international donors for support of Yemen and international organizations' work in the humanitarian field in Yemen.
The minister affirmed the National Salvation Government's commitment of to provide all facilities and cooperation for the humanitarian organizations working in Yemen.
Meanwhile, the EU official said that the EU would be prepared to provide possible support to Yemen for alleviating the suffering of the Yemenis because of the war and siege imposed by the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen.
