Land Transport Authority condemns practices of Saudi occupier against sons of Mahra, closure of shipping port

SANAA, Feb. 19 (Saba) - The General Authority for The Regulation of Land Transport affairs condemned the criminal acts carried out by the Saudi occupation forces against the people of Al-Mahra province and the closure of Yemeni land ports.

The Saudi occupation forces controlling the shipping land port prevented the entry of food commodities and agricultural tools, which is contrary to all customs, charters, international laws and Security Council resolutions, and a flagrant violation of sovereignty Yemeni, the Authority confirmed in a statement received by Saba.

The statement considers the acts of oppression and persecution of the Saudi occupier against the free sons of Mahrah are brutal acts of terrorism against a people, land and a sovereign and independent State.

The statement pointed to the importance of the land cargo port, which provides various humanitarian services and is a commercial and economic outlet between the Republic of Yemen and our sister Sultanate of Oman.

The statement called on tribes, dignitaries and Mahrah dignitaries to unite the ranks to face the Saudi occupation, which is trying to impose hegemony on the province and tighten the stranglehold on its people, and prevent the passage of goods and traffic in the land border ports, including the strategic shipping land port.

The General Authority for the Regulation of Road Transport called on the United Nations, the Security Council and human rights organizations to put an end to these violations against the Yemeni people in general and the sons of Mahrah in particular.
