SANAA, Feb. 18 (Saba) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Tuesday stressed that the governors should abide by the local authority law regarding the appointments of directors of ministries' offices and other government agencies.
This came at the meeting of Dr. bin Habtoor with Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Obeid Salem bin Dhabei, which discussed ways to activate the role of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, as well as the current situation of the Council and the challenges facing it.
In the meeting, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor touched on the problem arising from the appointment of some directors of the ministry’s offices in the provinces without consulting or coordinating with the Ministry, which represents a breach of the law that regulates the the appointment process.
