SANAA, Feb. 18 (Saba) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Tuesday met with General Manager of the Yemeni General Corporation for Oil and Gas Mahmoud Salim al-Noum, who briefed him on the Corporation's activities.
During the meeting, al-Noum reviewed the Corporation's plan for 2020, especially with regard to the supply program of oil derivatives and domestic gas at the level of the capital Sanaa and the liberated provinces.
Al-Noum touched on the efforts made by the Corporation to enhance the stability of the supply situation for petroleum products and domestic gas in light of the continuation of Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition in seizing a number of fuel-imported ships and preventing their entry to the port of Hodeidah.
In this regard, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of strengthening the administrative and institutional aspects in managing this process, praising the efforts of the Corporation and the petroleum and gas companies to meet the needs of the domestic market from oil derivatives and domestic gas.
