JAWF, Feb. 15 (Saba) – Forty citizens were killed and injured in US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition airstrikes targeting a gathering at the wreckage of the plane that was shot down by air defenses in al-Maslub district in Jawf province, a security official told Saba on Saturday.
The aggression fighter jet waged airstrikes on the crash site during the gathering of citizens, killing and injuring dozens, mostly women and children, said the official.
The source confirmed that the flight re-targeted the paramedics, raising the number of martyrs and wounded to 40 in the preliminary toll.
The source appealed to the Ministry of Health and humanitarian organizations to send ambulances to the district of al-Maslub to help the wounded to hospitals in the capital Sanaa.
On Friday evening, the army's air defenses and popular committees shot down a Tornado warplane with a sophisticated surface-to-air missile in Jawf province while on hostile missions.
