SANAA, Feb. 1 (Saba) - Minister of Culture Abdullah Ahmad al-Kibsi on Saturday opened at the House of Culture in Sanaa the first book exhibition within the activities of the Year of Resilience and Culture 2020.
Al-Kibsi toured the pavilions of the exhibition, which included thousands of books issued by the Public Book Authority and the Culture Ministry during the year of Sanaa, the Arab Capital of Culture 2004 and the year of Tarim, the Capital of Islamic Culture 2010 and other publications of local publishing houses.
The Minister indicated that the exhibition is part of the Ministry's activities aimed at encouraging reading.
The exhibition, which will last until February 5, will be accompanied by literary and cultural activities and the launch of the competition for the best anti-aggression literary work for the year 2020.
