SANAA, Jan. 18 (Saba) - Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Saturday discussed with Minister of Finance Sharafuddin al-Kohlani the executive steps to achieve economic recovery according to the relevant presidential directives.
The meeting focused on the Economic Committee's activity and its work plan for the current year, as well as aspects related to the performance of economic units and their development activities.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation steps for the various directives that came in the speech of President Mahdi al-Mashat during the launch of the package of initiatives related to the economic aspect within the framework of the first phased plan of implementing the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.
During the meeting, Minister of Finance reviewed the progress of the executive procedures related to the economic recovery, especially with regard to exemptions for the national industry inputs aimed at developing this vital sector and its role in serving the national economy, in addition to paying a half of salary to the state employees, according to the President's instructions.
