SANAA, Jan. 15 (Saba) – Speaker of the Parliament Yahya Ali al-Ra'i on Wednesday opened the Pediatric Department at the National Foundation for Cancer Control (NFCC) in the capital Sanaa Pediatric Department.
At the opening, the Parliament Speaker listened to an explanation on the nature of the Foundation's work, its objectives, and the services it provided.
Al-Ra'i toured the NFCC's departments at Dar Al-Hayat belonging to the foundation, and praised the foundation's performance.
The Parliament Speaker pointed out that the internationally-prohibited weapons that the aggression coalition uses are one of the causes of the spread of cancer diseases in Yemen, calling on the international community to pressure to stop the aggression and lift the siege.
He urged the National Salvation Government and related agencies to provide all aspects of support for the Foundation and its branches in the provinces in corporation with the private sector.
