SANAA, Jan. 4 (Saba) -The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah strongly condemned the United States snaky and cowardly attack on Major General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU).
The Political Bureau indicated to the consequences of this treacherous and cowardly act on the region and its stability, which faces unprecedented security and political challenges, foremost of which is Iraq’s suffering from the US occupation and interference in its affairs.
The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah in a statement received by Saba that what the US committed against these two great leaders is a great adventure that will worsen the tense situation in the region.
This targeting reinforces the convictions of the resistance axis, that there is no option in the face of American arrogance and intransigence, except to continue the approach of resisting the Zionist-western project, the source added.
