SANAA, Dec. 3 (Saba) - The Supreme Judicial Council in its weekly meeting on Monday approved the activation of the financial disclosure affairs management for the judiciary members.
This came within the Council's keenness to strengthen the principle of transparency, impartiality and justice in the judiciary bodies, prevent corruption, and promote the role of oversight of all who hold a position in the judiciary.
In its meeting, chaired by Judge Ahmed al-Mutwakil, the Judicial Council also discussed the memorandum of Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority on the approval of referring a judge to the Accounting Council, and instructed that the application be returned to the Authority to complete the necessary procedures in accordance with the law.
