SANAA, Nov. 23 (Saba) - Speaker of the Shura Council Mohammed al-Aidarous on Saturday met with Acting Head of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)'s office in Yemen Muad Abu Shamaleh.
In the meeting, al-Aidarous affirmed that the Palestinian issue is topping priorities of the state leadership and the Yemeni people as the central issue of the nation, despite the continued siege and aggression on Yemen by the international arrogance forces led by America and Israel.
The Shura speaker referred to the Yemeni people's historical positions in support of the Palestinian people in their just cause.
He praised the struggling roles of the Palestinian Islamic resistance factions and Hamas in resisting the Zionist occupation, calling for the speed of uniting ranks and ending the division among the Palestinian factions.
In the meeting, Abu Shamaleh explained the importance of uniting efforts to mobilize the Arab and Islamic nations to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qiblah of Muslims, and show solidarity with the just cause of the Palestinian people.
Acting Head of Hamas office touched on the recent Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip, which has been faced by the Palestinian resistance factions with a strong military response that confused the Zionist enemy accounts.
He noted to the seriousness of the deal of century aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause.
