SANAA, Nov. 13 (Saba) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Tuesday met in Sanaa with the World Food Program (WFP)'s delegation headed by the Program's Regional Director Muhannad Hadi.
In the meeting, Sharaf stressed the importance of WFP coordination with the relevant government agencies and its commitment to the principle of transparency and the priority of delivery of fit humanitarian assistance to the targeted.
He confirmed the readiness of the competent national authorities to cooperate with the program to achieve an effective partnership to serve citizens.
For his part, Muhannad Hadi affirmed the keenness and commitment of WFP to work seriously to contribute to alleviating the suffering of Yemenis in coordination and cooperation with the national authorities.
The meeting discussed activities of WFP office in Sanaa in light of the humanitarian challenges faced by the Yemeni citizens as a result of the continued aggression and economic war waged by Saudi-UAE aggression coalition and its tools.
