A serious fire broke out in an oil tanker in AL-Hodeidah harbor on the Red Sea , some 265 km away from the capital Sanaa , Sabanet correspondent said.
The Yemeni Oil Tanker ( Oil 17), associated to the Overseas Company, has caught a fire while it was unloading its cargo in Al-Hodeidah harbor.
The Firefighting team has just managed to put down the fire which seems to be caused by an electrical fault. Said the deputy minister of Transportation Mohammed Salim.
Salim added that a specialist team now is trying to assess the damage sustained in the accident . The Oil Tanker came from the Aden harbor loading 11 tons of crude oil.
