BENGKULU, (Saba Net) - A powerful earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale rocked Indonesia's Bengkulu province early Saturday,
local official reported here Saturday.

Kepahyang Meteorology and Geophysical office spokesman Hatta said that the epicenter of the quake which occurred at 4.57 am was located 70 km under the sea in the Indonesian ocean, some 140 km northwest of Bengkulu city.
There was no report of casualties or damage.
