MOSCOW,(Saba) - Russian policemen have been celebrating their professional holiday - Police Day, on November 10. Most of the Interior workers observe their professional holiday on Monday,, being on their guard posts, Russian police were transferred to an emergency work schedule until l November 11 in connection with the Nationwide Day of reconciliation celebrated in Russia on November 7. reported on Monday.

It is a 41st time that police are celebrating their professional holiday.
Traditionally, gala concerts will be held in all Russian regions in honour of Russian policemen. Fresh flowers will be laid to the graves of policemen who were killed on duty. The death toll among policemen who are killed
on duty every year is around 350, including casualties suffered by the Interior Ministry both in hotbeds of tension and peaceful regions.
