Fallujah,(Saba)-A number of US soldiers were wounded Saturday in an attack on a convoy in the restive town of Fallujah, a US military
officer said on condition of anonymity.

"A bradley was hit. There are casualties, but I can't say more," the officer said at the scene, where soldiers sealed off the area.

Soldiers scoured the area and detained two Iraqis, an AFP correspondent witnessed.

An Iraqi said he believed he saw a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) hit a vehicle in a US military convoy in the town, 50 kilometres(31 miles) west of Baghdad.
