NAJRAN, June 30(Saba) – The army and popular forces foiled on Saturday the Saudi-paid mercenaries 'attack towards Asir province, a military official told Saba.

The operation took place in al-Ajashar desert, killing and wounding a number of the mercenaries. Earlier in the day, the army shot dead two Saudi soldiers in military site of al-Talah, the official added. Earlier in the day, The Saudi-led coalition has been waging a military action against the Yemeni people army since March 26, 2015, in the flagrant violations of the international conventions.

The four-year-old coalition war on Yemen has killed over 10,000 Yemenis, mostly women and children, displaced more than 3 million, according to the United Nations.
