SANAA, June 23 (Saba) – The Constitutional, Legal and Judicial Committee of the Shura Council on Sunday held a meeting to discuss all that would enhance the independence of the judiciary and improve its performance.



In its meeting, the Committee touched on the mechanism of translating the national vision of building the modern state of Yemen into reality with regard to the committee's activities and its role in activating the laws related to the issues of civil disputes in coordination with the competent judicial authorities.



The meeting stressed the need to activate the general amnesty resolution in coordination with the political leadership and relevant security and judicial organs.



The Committee members pointed to the importance of the Council's role in strengthening the Constitution and the Law in the framework of the tasks assigned to it .



The meeting also dealt with the Committee's plan of action for the current year, 2019.
