TEHRAN, April 30 (Saba) - The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stressed that the economic embargo imposed by the United States on Iran is unjust and illegal, stressing Iran's determination to continue to export its oil despite the pressure exerted by the US administration.
Rouhani said in a speech on the occasion of World Labor Day that the main objective of the Americans from the unjust embargo on Iran is to reduce revenues from hard currency, where the sale of oil and condensate gas and some industries associated with oil and gas are the most important sources of revenue in the country.
"In the coming months, Americans will see for themselves how we will continue our oil exports and we have six ways to export it that Americans do not know at all and not just one way," Rouhani said.
He pointed out that the Iranian people have faced America since the victory of the Islamic revolution, has been exposed ti and will never allow the imposition of pressure on the people.
On the other hand Rouhani pointed out that there are only two options to address the issue of the national currency either reducing reliance on hard currency or work to secure more, explaining that increasing national production and development and work to achieve self-sufficiency will help to increase exports and reduce imports and that will provide more foreign currency for the country and promote the value of the national currency.
He pointed out that the volume of non-oil exports of Iran is 40 billion dollars and that raising these exports would lead to increase the country's revenues from hard currency and achieve prosperity for the people and strengthen their economic structure.
He pointed out that the floods that swept through 28 Iranian provinces raised some problems for citizens and said that the reconstruction of all production centers that have been exposed to the flood is a government responsibility.
