SANAA, April 29 (Saba) - The death toll from floods and landslides in Indonesia's Bengkulu province has risen to 15 people, the provincial disaster authority said Monday.

The head of the agency, said 10 of the dead were in the center of Bengkulu province, three from Bengkulu town and two from Kepahiang province.

The Indonesian news agency Antara reported that three people were still missing.

Floods and landslides that hit several parts of the province following heavy rains on Friday forced the authorities to evacuate some 12,000 people to high places.
