SANAA, April 28 (Saba) - The International Medical Corps (IMC) launched Sunday a campaign to raise the awareness of the dangers of cholera targeting houses of Sanhan and Al-Hahima Al-Kharijiah districts in Sanaa province.

In the inauguration, Dr. Khalid Al-Montasser, Director of the Health Office in the province called on the parents to cooperate with the community volunteers to ensure the success of the campaign, commending the contribution of the IMC in combating the cholera epidemic and reducing the suffering of the citizens.

The Directors of the health offices in Sanhan Dr. Abdul Ghani Faraj and in and Al-Hahima Al-Kharijiah district Dr. Mohammed Al-Ashool, expressed keeness to ensure the success of the campaign, praising the role of the health office in the province and the IMC in supporting the health sector of the two districts.

Dr. Nibras Khalid, Community Health Officer of the International Medical Corps (IMC), pointed out that the campaign of 130 community-based community volunteers in the two districts aims to promote community awareness on the dangers of cholera and how to prevent it.
