SANAA, April 27 (Saba) - The United States warned its citizens against traveling to Sri Lanka and urged them to review their travel plans to the island following the attacks that killed 253 people.
The US State Department said in a statement that "the US government has limited capacity to assist US citizens in Sri Lanka," raising the level of warning of travel to the island from three degrees to four.
About 253 people were killed Sunday in attacks on churches and luxury hotels in Sri Lanka.
Australia said on Friday it was "possible" that other attacks would take place in Sri Lanka, while suspects linked to the attacks would continue to be tracked.
