ASIR, April 27 (Saba) – The missile force of army, supported by popular forces, on Friday fired 17 Zilzal-1 missiles at gatherings of Saudi-led mercenaries and their military equipment in Asir province, a military official told Saba.
Dozens of mercenaries were killed and tens others injured when the army launched 15 Zilzal-1 missiles and shells on mercenaries gatherings off Aleeb crossing, he affirmed.
Two other missiles hit the mercenaries’ gatherings in Majaza, he added.
Meanwhile, the army repelled an infiltration attempt of mercenaries in Majaza, that was covered by the air force of enemy, and killed and injured scores of them, he added, affirming that an armored fighting vehicle was destroyed in the same area, using a guided rocket.
Another infiltration was foiled off Aleeb leaving huge losses in the mercenaries’ troops, he said, affirming the destruction of two military vehicles of mercenaries, when the artillery force shelled their gatherings off Aleeb crossing.
