PROVINCES, April 26 (Saba) – The army, supported by popular forces, over the last 24 hours liberated new areas inflicting on mercenaries of the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition heavy losses on various front, a military official on Friday told Saba.
In Aden, a Qasif K2 drone’s belonging to the army’s air force launched an airstrike on the headquarter of invaders and mercenaries of the UAE-saudi aggression coalition in Bouriqa, the official said.
In Jizan, another joint attack by the air forces’ drones and artillery force targeted bulldozers and military equipment of the Saudi army in Khury site, he said.
More than 20 mercenaries, including three officers, were killed and an enemy machine gun was destroyed, when the army attacked the mercenaries’ sites east of Jahfan, he said.
The engineering units ambushed four military vehicles belonging to the mercenaries off Sudis killing their crews’ members, he said, adding that another ambush was set up in the same area and in Ajasher desert and led to destroying two other vehicles and to kill their crews’ members.
In Asir, five mercenaries were gunned down off Aleeb crossing, he said, adding that five Zilzal-1 missile were fired at gatherings of mercenaries off Aleeb crossing and Raqabat Al-Sahn area, in Rabouaa front.
The army launched a wide-scale offensive on mercenaries’ sites east of Jabal Al-Nar, Haradh front, which led to liberating several hilltops and sites and to killing and injuring tens of the mercenaries, he said, adding that the army seized a large quantities of various weapons and munitions during that attack.
Several attempt to recover the sites were foiled by the army, he affirmed.
In Taiz province, the army attacked sites of mercenaries in Wazaiaa junction killing and wounding tens of them, he added.
In Dhalea, the artillery force shelled groups of mercenaries in Mouris front killing and injuring tens of them, he affirmed.
