SANAA, April 25 (Saba) - Former US Vice President Joe Biden announced Thursay that he will enter the race to get a nomination from his Democratic Party to be able to run in the upcoming presidential election 2020.

Biden said in a video posted on the Internet: "We are fighting for the soul of this nation," calling on voters to prevent President Donald Trump from winning a second term.

The 76-year-old Biden is now the most fortunate to win the Democratic nomination to face Trump in the presidential election.

The Democratic primaries, which will formally decide the party's candidate for the ballot in July 2020, will be held.

Biden will join a long list of Democrats who announced their future compete with President Donald Trump in the November 2020 ballot.
