MOSCOW - April 25 (Saba) - Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergey Naryshkin has revealed that there are American preparations for a military operation against Venezuela.

"Russia sees evidence that the United States of America is preparing a military operation against Venezuela," Naryshkin was quoted as saying by the Sputnik news agency.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned the United States earlier of the consequences of any possible military adventure in Venezuela.

Venezuela is subjected to attempts by the United States to intervene in its internal affairs and to destabilize it via tightening economic and financial sanctions and supporting right-wing forces in a desperate attempt by Washington to revive its plans to dominate the country, which has vast oil wealth through the coup against the legitimate president by using all means, including violence and chaos.
