MOSCOW, April 24 (Saba) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in Russia Wednesday morning in preparation for a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
Kim's armored vehicle arrived at the Hasan station in the southern part of the Primorsky Krai region, the TASS news agency reported.
Putin and Kim will meet in the coastal city of Vladivostok, near the border with China and North Korea.
During his meeting with the North Korean leader in Moscow, Putin will propose the resumption of the six-party talks, the Bloomberg news agency reported.
The six-party talks include China, South Korea, North Korea, the United States, Russia and Japan.
The first visit by the current North Korean leader to Russia is expected to focus on discussing the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula and ensuring security in East Asia in general.
