SANAA, April 24 (Saba) - Moroccan authorities have announced the dismantling of a "terrorist cell" loyal to the terrorist organization "Daash", consisting of six members.
The official Arab Maghreb News Agency (MAP) reported on Tuesday a statement by the Central Bureau of Judicial Research that cell members, aged from 22 to 28, were active in the city of Salé, a suburb of the capital Rabat.
The search resulted in the seizure of electronic devices, white weapons and "publications of an extremist nature," the statement said.
According to the statement, the suspects, who announced their loyality to Daash, "engaged in propaganda and promotion of this terrorist organization," as well as "seeking to acquire experiences in the preparation and manufacture of improvised explosive devices, in order to use them to carry out terrorist operations, in line with the subversive agenda of the organization.
