SANAA, April 24 (Saba) - "The United States has made a huge mistake in politicizing oil and using it as a weapon against our country," said Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Zangeneh.





This came during a parliamentary session held on Tuesday.



He said that Washington will not achieve its dream of stopping Iranian oil exports, and that his country will be able to defeat the US sanctions imposed on it.



The minister warned of the repercussions of the US decision on the oil markets, where he considered that the global oil market will be fragile because of the supply and demand, in reference to the market will be subject to large fluctuations in prices because of the US move.



"The statement by the United States and its allies shows that they are concerned about oil prices and market instability and fragility," he said.



The United States announced on Monday that it would not extend exemptions granted to eight countries after the month of May.



US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Washington intends to make collapse Iran's oil exports to zero rate .
