SANAA, Feb. 17 (Saba) – Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahab al-Durra on Sunday met with the United Nations Early Recovery Cluster Coordinator in Yemen, Stean Tshiband.

They discussed aspects of cooperation regarding the neutralization of economic and vital enterprises, the possibility of supporting small industrial projects and creating employment opportunities for youth.

In this context, Tshiband explained that an integrated strategy is being prepared to support many small enterprises in Yemen.

During the meeting, al-Durra handed the UN Coordinator his ministry's vision on the economic empowerment of small and medium enterprises in order to find the necessary support from donors.

Tshiband affirmed that the ministry's vision would be studied and incorporated in the overall strategy for economic recovery.
