IBB, Dec. 10 (Saba) - 400 food baskets on Sunday were distributed to poor and needy people in Badan district of Ibb province, as well as 400 school bags provided by a local organization with the support of UNICEF's.
Deputy Governor of Ibb Sadeq Hamza stressed the readiness of the local authority to facilitate the arrival of relief aid to the targeted categories, especially in light of the current situation as a result of aggression and siege and economic war, and appreciated this humanitarian initiative.
He called on relief organizations, foundations and charities to further implement such humanitarian initiatives to alleviate the suffering of the poor and the deserving.
Meanwhile, Hamza along with Director of the Office of Industry and Commerce in Badan Nabil Al-Baadani inspected the processes of distributing and selling gas to citizens in the district.
He stressed on the importance of selling gas to the citizens at the approved prices.
