SANAA, 02 Dec (Saba) - President Mahdi al-Mashat, met on Sunday with Dhamar governor Muhammad al-Maqdashi and the sheikhs of Otoma district.


The meeting discussed the role of local authorities, sheikhs and social figures in promoting alignment and cohesion and combating plans of aggression targeting the country.

The meeting focused on efforts made to solve the problem of the assassination of Sheikh Mansour Ezzeddine Al-Asadi, in addition to the situation in Otoma District and its needs of the necessary projects and services.

The president stressed the importance of the role of sheikhs and social figures in solving the problems of citizens and the failure of the stratagems targeting the security and stability of the country.

He pointed out that the current phase in the country required everyone to redouble their efforts to alleviate the suffering of the citizens and try to solve their problems in cooperation with the official bodies.
