Foreign Ministry: Aggression forces hinder national delegation participating in Geneva talks
[05/September/2018]
SANAA, Sep. 5 (Saba) - The Foreign Ministry on Wednesday said that the Saudi-led aggression coalition forces are putting obstacles to prevent the national delegation from participating in the Geneva consultations.
“We were surprised by the obstacles placed by the aggression forces through not granting a license to operate an Omani plane - as the safe and usual means to transfer our national delegation”, the ministry said in a statement. “This was requested as part of the understanding and coordination and as usual in all negotiations and political consultations.”
The ministry expressed the hope that the United Nations and the international community will pressure the aggression forces to grant a license to an Omani plane to transport the national delegation from Sana'a and to secure the delegation’s return to avoid what happened in previous rounds, when the delegation stayed in Muscat for more than three months.
