SANA'A, Aug. 12, (Saba)- Chiefs of the Republican Guard and Special Forces units finished on August 6-9 a training course themed "Raising Combat Efficiency of the Republican Guards and the Special Forces".

Chief of the General Staff for Training Affairs, Ali S. Ubeid stressed the imperative of reviewing accurately the performance of the special forces units in the first phase of the combat training season.

He praised the "commitment and capability of the republican guards to punctually and precisely perform their missions" in combating terror acts and maintaining law and order across the country.

The chief of the general staff said the training was "vital for enabling the Republican Guard and Special Forces" to come to grips with the up-to-date military knowledge and skills.
