SANA'A, Jan. 03 (Saba) – The army and popular forces have achieved more field progress in several fronts in the past hours, defending of the country and its sovereignty and its independence.

A military official said to Saba that the army and popular forces targeted Saudi gatherings in Muthalath al-Rukbah, al-Mutazah and al-Ma'anaq sites. Ambulances were seen rushing to the scene.

The army and popular committees also targeted Saudi military fortifications and its mercenaries in al-Tewal border crossing what led the deaths and injuries in their ranks.

Meanwhile, the army and popular forces managed to repulse an advance towards al-Shabaka military site in Najran region in spite of a heavy cover of the US-Saudi aggression warplanes.

Elements of al-Qaeda and Daesh participated in the failed attempt which led the deaths and injures among Saudi soldiers and Saudi-paid mercenaries.

Two military vehicles were also destroyed in the failed attempt.

Dozens of Saudi-paid mercenaries were killed or injured when the army and popular forces pounded their gatherings at al-Sudais Control in Najran region.

A Saudi military vehicle was destroyed by the army and popular forces at Aleb border crossing. The crew onboard was also killed.

The army and popular committees also pounded Saudi-paid mercenaries in al-Haraiqah area in the south of Thubab district in Taiz province.

The army and popular forces targeted Saudi-paid mercenaries' gatherings near Aqaba area in Khab and al-Sha'af district in Jawf province.

Dozens of mercenaries were killed or injured among them. A military vehicle was also destroyed.

The army and popular forces fired Zilzal-type 2 on Saudi-paid mercenaries' gatherings on Waqaz area in al-Masloub district in Jawf province which caused the deaths or injured among them.
