SANA'A, Dec. 18 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Saleh Al-Sammad paid an inspection visit to the Supreme Commission of Elections and Referendum (SCER) on Sunday.
During his visit, Al-Sammad held a meeting with the SCER's leadership to discuss the commission's situation, planes and the progress of work in the electronic electoral register program.
The president directed the Commission to resume its duties and overcome the difficulties and obstacles that hinder its work.
Al-Sammad assured to the commission that it will receive all the support and attention from the Supreme Political Council within the framework of the joint coordination to enable the SCER restoring to its full activity so as to achieve the interests of Yemen and the Yemeni people.
Following the meeting, the president was accompanied by Head of the SCER Judge Mohammed al-Hakimi and toured the SCER headquarters, during which he was briefed on the developed system of the electronic electoral register program.
