SANA'A, Dec. 17 (Saba) - Prime Minister Abdul Aziz Bin Habtour met here on Saturday with UN Resident Coordinator Jamie McGoldrick and chiefs of international humanitarian organizations in Yemen.
The prime minister discussed with the officials the disastrous implications of the ongoing Saudi aggression and its all-out economic blockade on Yemen in the field of humanitarian, economic and health aspects and the required international support to end the aggression.
They also reviewed possible mechanisms to strengthen coordination between the government, the UN coordinator and the humanitarian organizations regarding humanitarian aid projects.
Bin Habtour expressed his hope for expanding humanitarian efforts to meet increasing needs of all areas in Yemen in relief, humanitarian and medical fields.
Bin Habtoor affirmed his government’s commitment to provide all support and facilities to ensure success of the humanitarian works and activities in Yemen.
