MAHWEET, June 17 (Saba) - The Saudi-led coalition launched on Wednesday several air strikes on Shibam Kawkaban district of Mahweet province.

The Saudi warplanes launched 12 missiles on al-Mokhir Castle area, targeting hangars storing equipment and spare parts of rural roads projects carried out by the rural development project funded by the European Union, a local source in the province said.

The bombing led to total destruction of the hangars and al equipment inside, the source said, adding that the buildings of the nearby al-Mokhir Castle and houses were damaged.

At least two people were injured by the bombing shrapnel.
